本公司成立于2000年，由于余干水面辽阔，拥有35万亩可养水面，水产资源十分丰富，水产养殖遍地开花，鄱湖银鱼、甲鱼、乌鱼、河蟹、青虾、鳜鱼、真贡鱼等特色水产养殖已成规模，12万亩河蟹基地、3000亩乌鱼基地、1000亩甲鱼基地产销两旺，余干已由水产大县走向水产强县。“十一五”期间，将发展河蟹20万亩，乌鱼13000亩，甲鱼3000亩。
